# Masterwork

This is the most powerful set of armour, tools and weapons available on the server, and it requires a monumental amount of effort to obtain everything. However, the players that do are rewarded handsomely. 

Within every job is a [masterwork skill](https://info.unitedlands.net/gameplay-mechanics/jobs/job-skills), only obtainable once reaching level **25** that allows you to play a role in creating the set. Every job's masterwork ability must be utilised in some way to create the set so it's recommended to work as a town or nation and spread the labour.

### Full Set Bonuses

* Having a full set of masterwork tools and a masterwork sword gives a **10% cooldown reduction**.

## Obtaining

To gather all the resources required, you and your team will need to be level 25 in every job with their masterwork skills unlocked. Only then you can begin the crafting process.

Brewers, miners, farmers, and woodcutters have their masterwork recipes automatically unlocked once reaching level 25. For fishers, hunters, and diggers they will need to buy their respective skills in the skill tree.

### Step 1. Ancient Oak Sapling

This ancient and magical tree is made from an extremely durable wood. Saplings can be created by maximum level farmers by combining an oak sapling with experience bottles. Once grown, the tree will drop branches from the leaves when it's cut down. You will need 6 branches for a full set of tools.

### Step 2. Masterwork Tool Rods

Using the branches of the [Ancient Oak](https://info.unitedlands.net/crops#ancient-oak) tree, maximum level woodcutters can whittle them down into Tool Rods. These form the handles for all the Masterwork tools.

### Step 3. Masterwork Oil

A maximum level fisherman can find the 3 types of rare fish required to create the masterwork oil that coats the entire set. Riverfish can be found in rivers, Icefish can be found in frozen oceans, and Shimmerfish can be found in warm oceans. You will need 3 of each fish to create enough oil for a full set.

Using these 3 fish with a maximum level brewer can make the 3 oil components that are combined in a crafting table to create the finished masterwork oil. This oil is added to the end of the gear making process to imbue it with maximum level enchantments. Each piece of armour or tool requires 1 bottle of masterwork oil.

### Step 4. Dragon Scales

When a maximum level hunter kills the Ender Dragon, they drop some scales. You'll need 4 for a full set of armour.

### Step 5. Netherite Alloys

A maximum level digger will occasionally find nuggets of 3 rare metals that can be turned into ingots, these metals are Litnium, Maronine and Cinnarite. To create a full ingot you'll need the help of a Miner and 9 of the same nugget.&#x20;

To create the full Masterwork set you'll need **63** of each nugget variant.&#x20;

* You can find Litnium in dirt, rooted dirt, grass block, podzol, coarse dirt, farmland.&#x20;
* Maronine can be found in soul sand or soil.
* Cinnarite can be found in regular sand and red sand.

Turning these nuggets into ingots requires a maximum level miner. Only they can turn 9 of the same nugget into a full ingot. Once you have one of each ingot you can combine them together with a netherite ingot to create a netherite alloy.

### Step 6. Final Crafting

Now that you have all the materials needed for a full set, it's time to combine them. To do these you'll need to be a maximum level miner.

* Craft regular armour shapes with the netherite alloys to make an armour shell piece.

* Add to those shells some dragon scales and the masterwork oil to make the finished armour piece.

* Using tool rods and alloys, craft tools in their normal shape and then add oil afterwards.
