Woodcutter

Woodcutter job and skills details.

Introduction

Not just a woodcutter, but a carpenter too. This job has you living the full lifecycle of a tree: from planting, to cutting, to turning into a nice stool, to being replanted. Skills of this profession mainly focus on more efficient cutting and new recipes.

Making Money as a Woodcutter

Perhaps one of the most common and plentiful building materials, wood literally grows on trees. Port Antiguos is a small island, so they're always looking for outside help building ships. Players might also be on the lookout for bulk amounts, make sure to have access to some of the niche trees and secure your position in the market.

Skill Tree

🪓 Precision Cutting (Passive)

Chance to double any log or stem drop when broken with an axe. Works on any naturally generating trees.

  • Level 1: 10% chance.

  • Level 2: 20% chance.

  • Level 3: 30% chance.

🌲 Treefeller (Active)

Instantly cut down entire trees by breaking just one log.

It only breaks blocks at the same height and higher than the block that is chopped. When using this skill, the durability of the axe will be decreased by as much as if each block had been broken individually.

If the axe breaks while using the ability, the surrounding logs or stem blocks will remain intact, apart from the one on which the axe was broken.

To activate this skill, shift right-click whilst holding an axe.

  • Level 1: Duration of 10 seconds with a cooldown of 300 seconds.

  • Level 2: Duration of 20 seconds with a cooldown of 270 seconds.

  • Level 3: Duration of 30 seconds with a cooldown of 240 seconds.

🌱 Reforestation (Passive)

While treefeller is active, you automatically replant saplings of trees you've cut down.

  • Level 1: 35% chance.

  • Level 2: 65% chance.

  • Level 3: 100% chance.

1️⃣ Crafting Level 1

  • Carpenter 1: Recipes for bench, chair, coffee tables, palettes, shelves, side table, table.

  • Unlocked at level 10.

2️⃣ Crafting Level 2

  • Carpenter 2: Recipes for crate, light post, night stand, picnic table, stool, wall lamp, wall sign.

  • Unlocked at level 15.

3️⃣ Crafting Level 3

  • Carpenter 3: Recipes for cushion chair, cushion loveseat, pet house, swinging chair, swinging loveseat.

  • Unlocked at level 20.
